The gorgeous Betty Tran unveiled her new SS13/14 Ready to Wear Collection in style at an exclusive 1st Year Anniversary at Brookfield Place. Brookfield Place was divine with floral ascents, candles, fairy lights and a sophisticated ambiance. Canapés and wine flowed to guests, dressed in black and white.
The show (not just a catwalk event) began with Australia’s Got Talent semi finalist Clara Helms setting the scene with opera and wearing a gorgeous Betty Tran gown. Then to the sound of La Vie en Rose, models carrying lace parasols sauntered down the runway.
The Ready to Wear collection was a mixture of pops of colour, feminine skirts, blouses and sophisticated dresses. The La Muse collection is inspired by women with confidence and elegance, sophistication and femininity, and that is exactly what we saw. The show epitomized The Betty Tran woman, and every piece could fit into the working woman’s wardrobe.
And this new season collection will be available when Betty unveils her second Perth store at Times Square Claremont on August 27. Stocked with SS13/14, La Muse Collection, the WA designer will add her unique colour and just a bit of sparkle to Times Square.

Dancers kept the crowd entertained until the second half of the show began. To a string quartet, models were draped in Grecian style gowns and each girl looked confident and sexy, the Betty Tran woman.
The final gown was a dream and wowed the crowd, a definite favourite of the night. This was followed with Betty being presented with her very own birthday cake and was humble and adorable as she blew out the candles.
For a designer who is only celebrating her 1st Year Anniversary, Betty has been to Paris (where her SS14/15 collection will be stocked in Paris and Milan), New York at Fashion Palette, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Sydney (see below for a behind the scenes look at this show) and will feature at the Perth Fashion Festival in September.
Her store opening at Times Square is one not to be missed!
